Submission of the Gazette Notifications for approval of Parliament

- Cabinet approved the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies to present the Orders/Regulations/Notifications made under the following Acts and published through the respective Gazette Notifications, for approval in Parliament:

* the Order issued under the Excise (Special Provisions) Act, No.13 of 1989 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2364/36 dated 2023‑12‑31;

* the Order issued under the Ports and Airports Development Levy Act, No.18 of 2011 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2364/37 dated 2023‑12‑31;

* the Orders issued under the Finance Act, No.25 of 2003 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notifications No.2369/27 and No.2374/19 dated 2024‑02‑01 and 2024‑03‑06 respectively;

* the Notification issued under the Finance Act, No.35 of 2018 (Luxury Tax on Motor Vehicles) and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2368/24 dated 2024‑01‑24;

* the Regulations issued under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka Act, No.19 of 2021 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2366/34 dated 2024‑01‑12;

* the Excise Notification No.03/2023 published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2361/44 dated 2023‑12‑08;

* the Excise Notification No.04/2023 published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2364/35 dated 2023‑12‑31;

* the Regulations issued under the Casino Business (Regulation) Act, No.17 of 2010 published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notifications No.2366/33 and No.2369/42 dated 2024‑01‑12 and 2024‑02‑02 respectively.
