National Digital Economy Strategy for Sri Lanka

- The necessity of National Digital Economy Strategies and implementation plan for the same has been identified in order to achieve the country's vision of becoming a high income economy by 2048 and reach anticipated results. Accordingly, the “National Digital Economy Strategy for Sri Lanka - 2030” has been prepared with the participation of experts in the field and consultation of the professional bodies and chambers. The proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Technology to implement the said strategy, was approved by the Cabinet.
