Awarding the Procurement for the implementation of Rooftop Solar Power projects implemented in Religious places under Indian Government Funds

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at its meeting held on 2024-01-08 to install Rooftop Solar Power systems in religious places, under a loan facility of US$ 1,000 million granted by the State Bank of India, subject to a credit limit of US$ 17 million. Accordingly, bids have been invited to select a suitable institution to implement this project and 06 bids have been received. Taking into consideration the recommendation made by the Procurement Appeal Board on the recommendation submitted by the Technical Evaluation Committee and the Standing Cabinet Approved Procurement Committee, the proposal made by the Minister of Power and Energy to award the procurement of Implementation of Rooftop Solar Power systems for a contract price of US$ 17 million to M/s Premier Energies Ltd, was approved by the Cabinet.
