Gender Equality Bill

- Approval has been granted at the Cabinet meeting held on 2022-09-05 to prepare the Gender Equality Bill. Clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the Gender Equality Bill prepared accordingly and the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and thereafter, present it in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
