Renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute (BIDTI) of Sri Lanka and the Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA) of Nepal

- A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute of Sri Lanka and the Institute of Foreign Affairs of Nepal with the aim of enhancing cooperation and exchange of training so as to be valid for a period of 04 years from 2018‑09‑01 and the term of the said MoU has expired in the year 2022. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign a new MoU by amending the provisions enabling to extend the implementing period of the said MoU each five year upon the consent of both parties, was approved by the Cabinet.
