Amendments to the Rubber Control Act No.11 of 1956

- Approval has been granted to amend the Rubber Control Act No. 11 of 1956 in terms of the Cabinet decision dated 2022‑06‑06. Accordingly, the Legal Draftsman has prepared the the Rubber Control (Amendment) Bill and the clearance of the Attorney General has been received for that. The proposal made by the Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and submit the same thereafter to Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
