The Kelaniya Buddhist Women's Charitable Society (Incorporation) Bill

- The Kelaniya Buddhist Women's Charitable Society (Incorporation) Bill has been submitted to Parliament as a Private Member's Bill by Hon. (Ven) Athuraliye Rathana Thero, Member of Parliament. The clearance of Attorney General has been received for the preliminary Bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman. The proposal made by the Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs to submit a Report to Parliament recommending the relevant Bill in terms of the provisions of the Standing Order 52(6) of Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
