Poison, Opium and Dangerous Drugs (Disposal of court productions) Regulations of 2023

- Under subsection (6) of section 77A of the Poison, Opium and Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, the Minister in charge of the subject of Justice has been vested with powers to prescribe by Regulations, the mechanism of disposal of court productions including a drug, substance, article or a preparation, with the concurrence of the Judicial Service Commission. The proposal made by the Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms to submit the Poison, Opium and Dangerous Drugs (Disposal of court productions) Regulations of 2023 published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No. 2360/21 dated 2023‑11‑27, prescribing the mechanism of disposal of court productions including drug, substance, article or preparation as per the parameters of the law, to Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
