Re-opening of Sri Lanka Missions/Posts abroad

- It has been identified the need of re-opening the following Sri Lankan Missions which were temporarily closed during the period of 2021/2022 :

(i) Sri Lanka Consulate General in Cyprus, Nicosia,
(ii) Sri Lanka Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq,
(iii) Sri Lanka Consulate General in Frankfurt, Germany.

Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to re-open the above-mentioned Sri Lankan Missions/Posts abroad, was approved by the Cabinet.
