Designating the TIQRI Software PTE Ltd as a secondary business of strategic importance

- TIQRI Software PTE Ltd has submitted a proposal to start an information technology business in Colombo Port City with an initial foreign direct investment of USD 100,000. This project has fulfilled the required qualifications to be granted exemptions or incentives under 4(3)(b) of the Colombo Port City (Guidelines on the Grant of Exemptions or Incentives to Businesses of Strategic Importance) Regulations, No.2 of 2023. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Investment Promotions to grant relevant exemptions or incentives in terms of the provisions in the said Act and publish the project as a Secondary Business of Strategic Importance by an Order in the Gazette and thereafter to table the said Order in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
