Designating Asiri Port City Hospital (Private) Limited as a Primary Business of Strategies Importance

- Asiri Port City Hospital (Private) Limited has submitted a proposal to implement a project for the development of a Hospital at the Colombo Port City under an investment of US$ 100 million. Qualifications for granting of exemptions or incentives have been fulfilled under 2(b) of the Colombo Port City (Guidelines on the Grant of Exemptions or Incentives to Businesses of Strategic Importance) Regulations, No.2 of 2023. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Investment Promotion to award the relevant exemptions or incentives under the said provisions and after publishing the said project as a Primary Business of Strategic Importance by an Order in the Gazette, to table the said Order in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
