Submission of Sri Lanka National Commission for UNESCO Bill to Parliament

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at the meeting held on 2023‑03‑20 to instruct the Legal Draftsman to draft the Sri Lanka National Commission for UNESCO Bill. The clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the Bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman accordingly. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and thereafter, submit the same to Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
