Establishing Training/Migration Resource Centres in Jaffna, Homagama and Ampara areas for Overseas Job Seekers

- The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment conducts accelerated, host‑country specific training programmes for overseas job seekers. Currently, these training programmes are conducted under minimum facilities at rented out buildings in islandwide. Therefore, the proposal made by the Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment to establish Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment's training centres in the areas of Jaffna, Homagama and Ampara to provide necessary training for overseas job seekers, was approved by the Cabinet.
