Awarding the Contracts for Supplying aviation fuel for SriLankan Airlines Limited at 09 Airports worldwide

- The contracts for the supply of aviation fuel to Sri Lankan Airlines Limited at the airports of Bangkok, Beijing, Dubai, Hyderabad, Karachi, Male and Riyadh are to be expired on 2024‑02‑29, and the contracts for the supply of aviation fuel at the airports of Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta are due to expire on 2024‑03‑31. International competitive bids have been invited for the supply of fuel at those airports. Eleven (11) aviation fuel supply companies have submitted bids and one bid for Karachi airport and 02 or more bids for the remaining 8 airports. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to award the relevant contracts to the lowest evaluated substantially responsive bidders, as per the recommendations of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
