Acquisition of a land plot to the Sri Lanka Police for the establishment of the Rangala Police Station

- Currently, the Rangala Police Station, which is run on rental basis in a building belonging to the Getagahawela Plantation Company, has found it difficult for the officers on duty to carry out their duties properly since it is not spacious enough. Therefore, the proposal made by the Minister of Public Security to acquire a land plot of 02 acres from the Duckwariya Estate belonging to the Udapussellawa Plantation company to the Sri Lanka Police for the establishment of the Rangala Police Station, was approved by the Cabinet.
