Alienation of a plot of land from the land called Maduwanwela Nindagama Watta owned by the Land Reform Commission to Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC on lease basis for forestation

- A request has been made by Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC seeking a plot of the land called Maduwanwela Nindagama Watta in the Grama Niladhari Division of Pnamura in the Embilipitiya Divisional Secretariat Division in Ratnapura District belonging to the Land Reform Commission for a forestation project. The project Report submitted by the said company has been evaluated and accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Tourism and Lands to grant a land in extent of 87 acres, 3 roods and 25 perches to Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC for a long term lease basis of 30 years to carry out a forestation project, was approved by the Cabinet.
