Implementation Arrangement of the Agreement between the Republic of Sri Lanka and the State of Israel on Employment of Sri-Lankan Workers

- The Cabinet at its meeting held on 2020.02.05 has granted approval to enter into an Agreement with the Government of Israel on employment of Sri-Lankans in specific labour market sectors in the State of Israel and to sign a Protocol between the two parties in that regard. The Population, Immigration and Border Authority of Israel is expected to recruit employees for agricultural work in Israel pertaining to said Agreement. As such, The Cabinet noted the information furnished by the Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment stating that relevant Implementation Arrangement has been signed between the two parties on 2023‑11‑06.
