Obtaining approval for submission of Orders published in the Gazettes for approval in Parliament

- The Cabinet approved the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies to present the following Orders for approval in Parliament

(i) the Revenue Protection Order published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2347/06 dated 2023‑08‑29, in terms of the provisions of the Revenue Protection Act No.19 of 1962;

(ii) the Orders published through the following Gazette Notifications in terms of the provisions of the Special Commodity Levy Act. No.48 of 2007:

(a) the Order published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2343/11 dated 2023‑08‑01;

(b) the Order published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2345/64 dated 2023‑08‑17;

(c) the Order published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2346/16 dated 2023‑08‑21;

(d) the Order published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2348/44 dated 2023‑09‑08; and

(e) the Order published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2353/77 dated 2023‑10‑14.
