En-route Navigation Facility Charges Regulations No.01 of 2023

- En-route Navigation Facility Charges Regulations have been promulgated in 1981, enabling to impose an En-route Navigation Facility Charge for the aircraft navigating through the Colombo Flight Information Region. Those regulations have not been amended during last period of years. Therefore, taking into account the Convention on International Civil Aviation Policies and the current global trends, En-route Navigation Facility Charges Regulations have been amended and said new regulations have been published as En-route Navigation Facility Charges Regulations No.01 of 2023 through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2319/64 and dated 2023‑02‑16. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to table the Regulations so published, in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
