Appointment of an Advisory Committee to the Department of Community Based Corrections

- It has been recommended at the Committee on Public Accounts held on 2023‑06‑09 to appoint an Advisory Committee, since a continuous supervision and a follow up is necessary to discharge the duties carried out by the Department of Community Based Corrections coming under the Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms. Accordingly, The proposal made by the Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms to appoint the proposed Advisory Committee under the chairmanship of the Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms and consisting of other relevant Heads of Institutions and experts in the relevant field, was approved by the Cabinet.
