Recognition and Enforcement of International Settlement Agreements resulting from Mediation Bill

- The approval has been granted at the Cabinet meeting held on 2022-10-25 to draft a Bill to prepare laws to give effect to the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements resulting from Mediation (Singapore Convention on Mediation), domestically. The Bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman accordingly has received the clearance of the Attorney General. The proposal made by the Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and thereafter, submit it to Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
