Memorandum of Understanding between the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the State of Kuwait on the Establishment of a Bilateral Consultation Mechanism

- In the discussions held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, an agreement has been reached regarding the establishment of a bilateral consultation mechanism between the two countries. Accordingly, aiming to promote friendly relations and cooperation in the political, economic and other fields between the two countries, the proposal made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of a bilateral consultation mechanism in parallel with the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly to be held in New York in September 2023, was approved by the Cabinet.
