Allocating a plot of land located in Dambulla belonging to the Urban Development Authority for an Agro-Based Logistics and Industry Project

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at the Cabinet Meeting held on 2020‑10‑19 to call for investment proposals from the investors of the private sector on competitive basis to develop the lands belonging to the Urban Development Authority. As per a proposal so received, the Standing Cabinet Appointed Negotiating Committee of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing has approved to grant a land in extent of 03 Roods and 17.75 perches at the Dambulla divisional secretariat division belonging to the Urban Development Authority on lease basis, to implement an Agro-Based Logistics and Industry Project. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Urban Development and Housing to grant the said land on lease basis, to Dambulla Agro Cool Holdings (Pvt) Ltd., for a period of 30 years, was approved by the Cabinet.
