Awarding the Contract for Supplying of Aviation Fuel for SriLankan Airlines at the Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar and the Kuwait International Airport

- Existing Aviation Fuel Supply Contracts for SriLankan Airlines Limited at the Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar and the Kuwait International Airport are due to expire on 2023‑10‑31. Bids have been invited from Qatar Fuel Company and Kuwait Aviation Fueling Company, sole aviation fuel suppliers at the said 02 Airports, in accordance with the Government Procurement Guidelines. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to award the contracts for fuel suppliers for aircraft of SriLankan Airlines Limited at the Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar and and the Kuwait International Airport for a period of 24 months as direct contracts, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
