Enforcement of Bilateral and Multilateral Agreements

- It has been decided at the Cabinet meeting held on 2023-05-22, that after entering into bilateral and multilateral agreements which are determined to be essential for national development, laws should be enacted incorporating the provisions, so as not to deviate from those agreements without the consent of the parties concerned. The proposal made by the Hon. President to instruct the Legal Draftsman to prepare a Bill based on the preliminary draft that has been prepared accordingly, was approved by the Cabinet.
