Amendment to the Civil Aviation Act, No.14 of 2010

- The approval has been granted at the Cabinet meeting held on 2023‑03‑27 to amend section 6(3)(e) of the Civil Aviation Act, No.14 of 2010, enabling more number of service providers to take part in providing aeronautical services. Accordingly, the clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the Bill drafted by the Legal Draftsman. The proposal made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and thereafter, present it in the Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
