The Fifth Round of Negotiations on the proposed Sri Lanka-Thailand Free Trade Agreement

- The Fifth Round of Negotiations on the proposed Sri Lanka -Thailand Free Trade Agreement has been held from 2023.06.26 to 2023.06.28 in Colombo. During this Round, Negotiations on Chapters namely Customs Cooporation and Trade Facilitation, Economic Cooporation and Sanitary and Phytosanitary measures have been concluded. The information relating to the progress of the Fifth Round of Negotiations on Sri Lanka -Thailand Free Trade Agreement submitted by the Hon. President stating that it is expected to conclude the relevant negotiations by February, 2024 adhering to the Action Plan of the proposed Agreement and sign the Agreement by March, 2024, was considered by the Cabinet.
