Awarding the Contract for the Passenger and Ramp Handling Services for SriLankana Airlines at the Chennai International Airport (MAA), India

- The current Standard Ground Handling Agreement for passenger and ramp handling services at the Chennai International Airport is due to expire on 2023‑10‑31. Bids have been invited following the Limited International Bidding Procedure to obtain the said services. Three bids have been received for the same and accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to award the relevant contract to Bird Airport Services (Chennai) Pvt. Ltd. for a period of 03 years based on the recommendation submitted by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
