Restructuring the Cooperative Wholesale Establishment

- Taking into account the facts that the expected objectives by establishing the Cooperative Wholesale Establishment (Sathosa) have not been fulfilled and that the institution has not contributed effectively to the economy, it has been identified the necessity of restructuring the Sathosa. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Trade, Commerce and Food Security to appoint an Operations and Monitoring Committee to carry out the activities related to the restructuring of the Cooperative Wholesale Establishment (Sathosa) and to implement the proposed restructuring process, was approved by the Cabinet.
