Preferential Trade Agreement proposed to be entered into with Indonesia

- Indonesia, the largest economy in the South East Asia, has been identified as a potential trade partner for Sri Lanka to build beneficial trade relationships. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. President to initiate negotiations to enter into a Preferential Trade Agreement as an initial step towards Free Trade Agreement with that country in the long run, was approved by the Cabinet.
