Submission of the Regulations issued under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, No. 1 of 1969 to Parliament for approval

- The Imports and Exports (Control) Regulations No. 10 of 2023 have been published through the Gazette Notification dated 2023‑06‑14 as per the provisions of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act No. 1 of 1969 in order to replace the licensing methodology for importation of wheat flour by imposing a Special Commodity Levy. As such, the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies to submit the said Regulations to Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
