Extension of the period of validity of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy and the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute

- A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy and the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute in 2016 for a period of 05 years, with the objective of continuing the scientific cooperation in the field of agriculture between Sri Lanka and Malaysia. The validity period of the said Memorandum of Understanding has now expired and both parties have agreed to extend the said Agreement for another 5 years. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Agriculture to extend the period of the Memorandum of Understanding for another five (05) years, was approved by the Cabinet.
