Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance on Customs Matters between Sri Lanka and Maldives

- It has been proposed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance on Customs Matters between Sri Lanka and Maldives with a view to strengthening, promoting and developing cooperation and mutual assistance on matters relating to the customs and strengthening mutual understating and communication. The clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the Memorandum of Understanding drafted for that purpose. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies, to sign the proposed Memorandum of Understanding, was approved by the Cabinet.
