Current Status of Negotiations on the proposed Sri Lanka - Thailand Free Trade Agreement

- The forth round of negotiations of the proposed Sri Lanka - Thailand Free Trade Agreement have been conducted in Colombo from 27th to 29th March 2023 and the Hon. President submitted the progress of those negotiations to the attention of the Cabinet. Cabinet noted that the two parties have agreed to complete the negotiations by the first quarter of the year 2024 and make ready the relevant agreement to be signed by the two parties and conduct the next session of negotiations in Colombo on 27th and 28th March 2023.
