Parliamentary Budget Office Bill

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at its meeting held on 2022‑12‑05 to draft legislation for the establishment of the Parliamentary Budget Office. Accordingly, the clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the Bill drafted by the Legal Draftsman. The proposal made by the Hon. President to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and present the same thereafter in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
