Submission of the Gazette Notifications for approval in Parliament

- The Cabinet approved the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies for presenting the Orders/Regulations/Notifications published through the following Gazette Extraordinary Notifications, in Parliament, for approval -

* the Orders made under the provisions of the Ports and Airports Development Levy Act, No.18 of 2011 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2312/67 dated 2022‑12‑31;

* the Order made under the provisions of the Stamp Duty (Special Provisions) Act No.12 of 2006 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2312/73 dated 2022‑12‑31;

* the Excise Notification No.07/2022 made under the provisions of the Excise Ordinance (Chapter 52) and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2312/70 dated 2022‑12‑31;

* the Orders made under the provisions of the Tobacco Tax Act, No.8 of 1999 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2312/71 dated 2022‑12‑31;

* the Orders made under the Excise (Special Provisions) Act, No.13 of 1989 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2312/68 dated 2022‑12‑31;

* the Order made under the provisions of the Finance Act, No.25 of 2003 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2309/37 dated 2022‑12‑09 and the Order published through Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2314/16 dated 2023‑01‑11;

* the Regulations made under the provisions of the Finance Act, No.11 of 2004 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2312/80 dated 2023‑01‑01;

* the Notification made under the provisions of the Finance Act, No.35 of 2018 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2312/69 dated 2022‑12‑31 and the Notification published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2318/53 dated 2023‑02‑10; and

* the Order made under the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka Act, No.19 of 2021 and published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2316/32 dated 2023‑01‑26.
