Truth and Reconciliation Mechanism

- An Advisory Committee has been appointed in terms of the Cabinet decision dated 2023‑01‑16 to prepare a preliminary draft to use as a basis for making legislation on Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Accordingly, the joint proposal made by the Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to instruct the Legal Draftsman to prepare a Bill based on the preliminary draft submitted by the said Advisory Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
