National Programme to Commemorate the International Day of Zero Waste

- The United Nations General Assembly, under the initiative of the Republic of Turkiye, made the proclamation that 30th March of each year as the International Day of Zero Waste, on 2022‑12‑14. The objective of declaring this day is to promote zero waste initiatives to advance the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Environment to conduct a national programme to commemorate the International Day Zero Waste on 2023‑03‑30 with the participation of the Ministry of Environment and other stakeholder institutions, was approved by the Cabinet.
