Hosting the Fifth Session of the Forum of Ministers of Environment and Environment Authorities of Asia Pacific

- The fifth session of the Forum of Ministers of Environment and Environment Authorities of Asia Pacific has been scheduled to be held in the fourth quarter of year 2023 in Sri Lanka in order to provide opinions and proposals on the Regional Environmental Agenda at the 6th session of the United Nations Environment Assembly scheduled to be held in February 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Environment to host the fifth session of the said Forum, was approved by the Cabinet.
