Distribution of land plots from the land called Hineford Estate of Pasbage Korale, Nawalapitiya vested with the Land Reform Commission for those who were affected by floods and landslides

- The land called Hineford Estate in extent of 566 acres situated in the Divisional Secretariat Division of Pasbage Korale of the Kandy district has been vested with the Land Reform Commission. Taking into consideration a proposal made by the Minister of Tourism and Lands, Cabinet granted its approval to distribute about 200 acres of lands from the said land among those affected by floods and landslides and the families residing in high risk prone areas and likely to be affected by such disasters.
