Contribution of Sri Lanka for the "Commonwealth of Learning" Organization

- The "Commonwealth of Learning" is an international organization established by the Heads of States to strengthen the capacity of member countries to develop human resources required for their economic and social development. The contribution of Sri Lanka as a member country to the "Commonwealth of Learning", which is the education sector of the Commonwealth Organization, has been given for the education sector of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Commonwealth Fund signed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to pay the relevant contribution amount and continue the membership of the "Commonwealth of Learning" organization, was approved by the Cabinet.
