National Policy on Gender Equality and Women Empowerment

- Approval was granted at the Cabinet meeting held on 2022‑09‑05 for the preparation of a National Policy for Women Empowerment by minimizing gender imbalances. Accordingly, the “National Policy on Gender Equality and Women Empowerment“ has been prepared under 08 key thematic areas with the contribution of all the relevant parties. The proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment to implement the said policy, was approved by the Cabinet.
