National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security

- The United Nations Security Council has adopted a resolution on Women, Peace and Security in the year 2000 and many developed and undeveloped countries in the world have introduced National Action Plans to implement this resolution. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment to implement the "National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security - 2023‑2027" which has been drafted with the contribution and concurrence of all the stakeholders, was approved by the Cabinet.
