Preparation of a Development Plan for the development of Kandy City

- The Hon. President drew the attention of the Cabinet to the need to develop the Kandy city under a proper plan by reducing the existing congestion in the city. Accordingly, the approval of the Cabinet was granted to appoint a Committee consisting of Ministers in the Kandy district and officials of the relevant institutions to submit appropriate plans and recommendations for the development of Kandy city from Kandy to Kundasale.
