Approval to table the Surcharge Orders in Parliament (the Customs Ordinance)

- Two orders have been published in the Government Gazettes dated 2022‑11‑30 and 2023‑01‑04 levying a Surcharge as a percentage on the Customs Import Duties on selected goods under section 10(a) of the Customs Ordinance. The proposal submitted by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies to table the said Orders in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
