Grant project on capacity development for the evidence-based improvement of strategies and policies on air quality management in Colombo Megapolis Area

- The French Development Agency has agreed to provide a grant to implement a project on capacity development for the evidence-based improvement of strategies and policies on air quality management in Colombo Megapolis Area. Accordingly, the non-profit organization "Airpariff" as the technical partner of the project, will provide the total project cost of Euro 300,000. The Attorney General's clearance has been received for the draft Agreement of the Project. The proposal submitted by the Minister of Environment to sign a three-party fexte partnership agreement among the French Development Agency , ''AirPariff '' and the Ministry of Environment to implement the proposed project and to appoint a Steering Committee chaired by the Secretary to the Ministry of Environment to oversee the project implementation, was approved by the Cabinet.
