Establishment of the proposed Agency to promote Exports & Investments

- The proposal for the establishment of a single institution to promote investments and exports in a coherent and combined manner was submitted through the Budget proposals 2023. Accordingly, it has been planned to establish a new agency instead of Board of Investment and the Export Development Board. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. President to appoint an Oversight Committee to manage and provide guidance to the task of establishing the said Agency, was approved by the Cabinet.
