Civil Aviation (Charges for the use of Aerodromes) Regulations

- The Minister in charge of the subject of Civil Aviation has been vested with the power by section 117(2) (q) of the Civil Aviation Act No.14 of 2010 to determine the fees and charges to be levied by the Civil Aviation Authority for the Aerodromes in Sri Lanka. The fees charged for the use of Aerodromes at the airports have been revised and the Regulations related thereto have been published through the Gazette Notification dated 2022‑10‑26. Further, the Gazette Notification dated 2022‑11‑02 has been issued for adopting the same Regulations for the Jaffna International Airport as well. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to table the said Regulations in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
