National Energy Potentials, Strategies and the Roadmap for the next decade

- A Cabinet Sub‑Committee has been appointed under the chairmanship of the Hon. Prime Minister at the Cabinet meeting held on 2022‑08‑30 to identify the policies and strategies to be adopted to develop the Energy sector in a sustainable manner and submit appropriate recommendations to the Cabinet and provide necessary guidance for the expeditious implementation of the decisions to be taken by the Cabinet based on the said recommendations and follow up the same. As such, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister to implement the Roadmap inclusive of recommendations and the milestones relating to the Energy sector stated in the Report submitted by the said Sub‑Committee having conducted several discussions with the stakeholder institutions, professionals and academia in the field, was approved by the Cabinet.
