Conducting the South Asian Sub-Regional Committee Meeting and Project Proposal Development Training Programme of the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research

- Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research is an inter-government network of 22 member countries working towards an Asia-Pacific Region capable of effectively addressing the challenges of global change and sustainability. The prime objective of the said network is to conduct policy-based research required for the global sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific Region and develop the capacity of the region. Accordingly, the Cabinet considered the information submitted by the Minister of Environment on action taken to host to conduct the South Asian Sub-Regional Committee Meeting and Project Proposal Development Training Programme of the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research in Colombo from 2022‑11‑29 to 2022‑12‑01, by the Government of Sri Lanka.
